Part One is due next Monday, Nov. 7--Pick and plan your project. It includes the title page, question, hypothesis, material and equipment list, and procedure. (If the kids use published materials as the basis for their experiment, they can just put the procedure in their own words.)
Part Two is due Nov. 21--Do your experiment, record your data, and make graphs to show your results.
Part Three is due Dec. 5--Write up the experiment. This part is the hardest in many ways. It includes the analysis of results and the conclusion, both of which are paragraphs long.
Parents, you are welcome to help edit your child's work!
