- a continuous supply of wide-ruled 3-ring binder paper (please NOT spiral bound)

I won't require it, but I will highly recommend that every child has a personal copy of the MLA Handbook that they can highlight and mark up. The high school English department uses MLA format, so this is a book that can be used for several years:
